I am Yi, a graduate student in the Cummings lab using machine learning to understand brain aging, neurodegeneration, and substance use disorders.
My previous work includes undergraduate research in a gene editing lab at the Mayo Clinic and as a postbac at the NIH studying the role of long noncoding RNAs in metabolism and metabolic disease.
Outside of research, I enjoy music, cooking, theology, and tennis.
