I am a Ph.D. candidate studying the interplay between rhinovirus replication, fatty acid synthesis, and oxidation in human airway epithelial cultures with Dr. Meg Scull. Our lab studies a wide range of respiratory viruses and their interaction with host cells. I am particularly interested in the intersection between Virology and Immunology as it relates to the lung. I have worked previously with mouse models and am focusing on in-vitro studies for the investigation of rhinovirus. Having graduated from the University of Maryland in 2016, I am very thankful to be back on campus and learning from great mentors.
