I am a Ph.D. candidate studying plant calcium signaling, ion channels, and intracellular delivery proteins. I received my integrated master’s degree in Biological Sciences from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal, India. Since then, I have developed a strong interest in plant molecular biology and physiology.

My research focuses on understanding the role of the delivery protein cornichon homolog, which is known to influence ion channel activity, with an emphasis on the regulation of plant calcium signaling. I use confocal microscopy, live calcium imaging, and electrophysiological approaches to visualize calcium dynamics in response to various stimuli and to investigate the function of cornichon homolog proteins using genetic and physiological approaches.
